Governmental and Institutional Travel and Tourism (GITT) is becoming increasingly common and has evolved over the years. This has led to both standardization and specialization of professionals involved in this newly defined sector.

In this course, students will be able to contextualize those operational and functional aspects that are usually observed during the development of services to governmental or institutional delegations. The principles of Revenue Management, the management of bookings and the most common methods of payment in this type of operation will be defined.

In addition, the course includes the fundamentals that the United Nations Organization (UN) has defined in relation to Sustainable Tourism Development, assessing its possible application to the various areas of action involved in the travel sector of governments and institutions.
