The gradual evolution of governmental and institutional trips, known as ‘Governmental and Institutional Travel and Tourism’ (GITT), has led to a standardization and specialization of the professionals involved in this new tourism sector.

Through a detailed study of the operations that ground transportation professionals employ, students will be able to acquire the necessary guidelines to operate within this sector. In the same way, the course intends to develop organizational and resolution capacity in the students, oriented to speed up the management of the different types of vehicle services with driver usually required in the different stages of a GITT trip.

In addition, the course includes the fundamentals that the United Nations Organization (UN) has defined in relation to Sustainable Tourism Development, assessing its possible application to the various areas of action involved in the travel sector of governments and institutions.

Ground transportation suppliers, and in particular those dedicated to chauffeured services, will find in this course extremely useful information and procedures to orient, or re-orient, their services towards the GITT sector.
