Travel undertaken by governments and institutions, both in the exercise of their functions and sometimes in their leisure time, have been identified and classified within the Governmental and Institutional Travel and Tourism (GITT) sector, due to the inherent characteristics that determine the actions to be undertaken for their adequate planning and organization, and which are justified according to the status, rank and role of the members of each Delegation.
Through this course, the student will be able to understand the origin and evolution of the sector, as well as the main characteristics of the GITT, identifying, thus, those particularities that differentiate it notably from the rest of tourist or travel typologies.
